Guest Speaker: Lawrence Frank PhD Dr. Frank is an internationally known expert in sustainable transportation who is the Bombardier Chairholder at the University of British Columbia. He is the author of two books, Health and Community Design: The Impacts of the Built Environment on Physical Activity, and Urban Sprawl and Public Health. His 2004 study "Obesity Relationships with Community Design, Physical Activity, and Time Spent in Cars" was featured in Time magazine, and on CNN and ABC news.
