The History of Economics Society is accepting nominations for its annual prize for the "Best Article in the History of Economics." The winner will receive a stipend of $500 plus travel expenses up to $500 to attend the presentation at the Society's annual conference in 2008. The winner will also receive a plaque. All articles published in 2007 are eligible. (Articles in journals bearing a 2007 date but shipped after Jan 1, 2008 will also be considered.) To nominate an article, contact the 2007-08 chair of the committee, Andrew Farrant, at the address below by December 1, 2007. Please also send a copy of the article (pdf preferred).
