Dear group, I have been looking on the internet for articles on a specific aspect in the relation between Huckleberry and Jim. In the beginning of the story, Huck finds himself locked up in a cabin. He escapes from it by a hole in the wall. At the end of the story Jim is locked up in a cabin and Huck decides to liberate him. In my opinion, this is a literary way to make a comparison between the two persons. I haven't found any articles yet that pay attention to this aspect. Does anyone know of any? Thanks for your contributions. Niek Langeweg The Netherlands
