INTERNATIONAL NETWORK FOR ECONOMIC METHOD CONFERENCE Madrid, 12-13 Sept. 2008 The sixth INEM conference will be hosted by the Universidad Nacional de Educacion a Distancia (UNED) and the Urrutia Elejalde Foundation. Contributed papers are welcome in all areas of economic methodology and cognate disciplines, including papers on conceptual issues in economics, the methodological analysis and appraisal of theories and techniques, methodological issues in applied fields, the history of methodological thought in economics, the sociology of economic science, the rhetoric of economics, the relationship between economics and other disciplines, the philosophy and history of science, social epistemology, and the economics of science. Paper proposals should consist of a 500 words abstract, together with the contact details of the author (Name, affiliation, email address). The abstract should be attached to an email message to inem2008 [at] gmail.com. Deadline for submissions is March 15th 2008. Acceptance will be communicated by May 1st 2008.
