Thanks to Kent Rasmussen for sharing the word on this.

Speaking to Dennis' question, Finn has already been adopted in dozens
of college and high school classrooms, even prior to its release in a
more cost-effective paperback edition. As you can imagine, this has
been a huge thrill for me and a great stamp of approval upon the
difficult and dangerous work of toiling -- seriously and with great
respect -- in Twain's shadow. The American Library Association has
opened further academic and cultural doors by naming Finn a Notable
Book for 2008. For this too I am most grateful.
