 I am the director of admissions for a new Caribbean medical school, The University of Medicine and Health Sciences, St.Kitts (UMHS-sk).  I worked for Ross University for the past fourteen years as the Senior Associate Director of Admissions.  I left last month to join UMHS-sk.
 
 The owner of UMHS is Dr. Ross who is the former owner of Ross University.  UMHS is an excellent program for Canadian Students.  We are offering a reduced tuition which is much less then many of the other Caribbean schools.  Our campus is state of the art and our professors are carefully selected.
 
I was the Canadian Specialist for Ross University and am now the Director of Admissions for UMHS.  I am very familiar with the Canadian system along with the universities in each province.  I am aware of the shortages that Canada faces and also know the difficulties that students have when it comes to being accepted to the Canadian programs.  There are many very qualified students that are not given the opportunity to attend the Canadian schools, due to limitations in spots.   At UMHS you will be spending a year and a half in St. Kitts and your final semesters back in the US and possibly Canada.  We will update our website as hospitals are added.  
 
UMHS will be having an information seminar in Toronto on March 15th.  I will be at the presentation along with our president Warren Ross.  We will also have a representative from Royal Bank of Canada at our presentation.  Please pass this information on to other students.  I have attached a flyer with all of the information.  I am requesting that students register on-line.  If you have questions I can be contacted at [log in to unmask]
