The period to submit your application ends March 7th. Therefore, the official Election Day is March 10th at 3pm, which all candadates must attend. Available positions are as follows. -President -Vice-President-Internal Operations -Vice-President-External Operations -Chief Financial Officer -Director of Communications -Director of Events Coordinators -Events Coordinators and Assistants (2) -Secretary -Webmaster The procedures to apply for any of these positions are as follows. -You must write a paragraph stating your interest and your experience and skills, and how you would be a great benefit to SAHMPI. -You must be able to show keen interest and dedication. -You do NOT need previous leadership experience, however, a strong motivation, organizational, and people skills are essential. -And you must attend the Election Day on March 10th. If you are interested in any of the vacant positions above, please complete the attached ?Candidate Application? form and e-mail it to [log in to unmask] before or on March 7th, 2008. We have also attached a description of roles and responsbilities for each position, so if you are unsure about the duties of certain positions, have a look at the attachement. Please note: If there is a position that is not being contested, the candidate is automatically ?acclaimed?, and hence is granted that position. For example, if you are the only candidate interested in the Vice-President position, and the deadline to hand in your nomination has passed and no other candidates have shown interest, you will be ?acclaimed? for that position.
