I wold be grateful for any known references or quotations about the  
Mark Twain Library in Redding, Connecticut, an institution that Twain  
inspired and helped to organize and finance. Proceedings from the  
sale of Jean's Farm, which Twain sold after Jean's death in December  
1909, were used to build the first library building. Twain died  
before the building was completed, but his inspiration lives on and  
is being celebrated this year, 100 years after Twain's arrival in  
Redding on June 18, 1908.
