As part of its program for publishing the Journal of the History of Economic Thought, Cambridge University Press is digitizing the back issues of JHET, including the History of Economics Society Bulletin, in a very high-resolution, searchable format. Former JHET editor Donald Walker and current JHET editor Steve Medema have been able to provide CUP with most of the back issues needed for this process. However, we lack copies of volumes 1 through 7 of the History of Economics Society Bulletin. We are writing to hes-list members to see if anyone is willing to donate a set of HES Bulletins (vols. 1-7 only) to support the digitization effort. You need to be aware that the scanning process involves destroying the journals; that is, your donation is truly a donation. The HES will reimburse the donor for the cost of shipping the journals to Cambridge (UK), where the digitization process takes place. If you are willing to donate your HES Bulletins to this effort, please contact either of us (Peart: [log in to unmask]; Medema: [log in to unmask]) at your earliest convenience. Best wishes, Sandra Peart President, HES Steve Medema Editor, JHET
