Twainians, I /am /an attorney (although I don't know what that adds) and a B.A. in English, and I think a Hal Holbrook performance to raise money is an EXCELLENT idea. I think the other ideas presented--acquire patrons, nationalize the Twain house, make known supporters like Alex Trebek aware of the current situation--are excellent as well. The point is that there is at least some money out there that would be allocated, donated, committed if people were made aware of the need.
