In response to Carolyn Richey's questions about the MO Twain sites, the Boyhood Home is safe, high and dry. The flood waters are receding and the next crest will be several feet below the recent high levels. I called the Cave and they are also dry and open for business, as is the Florida birthplace - which is relatively free from river related threats due to its situation with dams and flooding controls.
