I couldn't help but note that Twain certainly mocks the Presbyterian version (or what sounds a lot like what I remember) when he has Huck describe the Grangerfords' discussion of the Sunday sermon, having "such a powerful lot to say about faith, and good works, and free grace, and preforeordestination, and I don't know what all...." This, in between bouts of blasting away at the equally pious Shepherdsons. Dan Walker
