Poverty and Health: Partnerships in Action Conference

This innovative, student-led conference will stimulate discussion to
unpack the relationships between poverty and health and showcase
strong Toronto-based community-campus partnerships. This conference
includes presentations from selected speakers in the field, joint
workshops led by community and academic partners and an innovative
forum that invites participants to collectively take action. Because
we cannot affect positive, sustainable change alone!

The following workshop topics will be presented by community experts
and academics in partnership:
- mental health
- environment and health
- homelessness and health
- food security
- diversity and health
- income inequity

To ensure inclusiveness and accessibility, our conference is free for
all registrants and a light vegetarian lunch will be provided.
