York University offers a wide array of financial assistance programs to help students fund their education.  The application deadline for fall awards is approaching. Here's how you apply:

Scholarships and Bursaries - APPLY NOW!
Student Financial Service is now accepting applications for various bursaries, scholarships and awards for the Fall/Winter 2008 session. For award criteria and to see if you are eligible to apply, please visit our Web site http://www.yorku.ca/osfs/assist.shtml. For most of the fall awards, the application deadline is October 15, 2008.

There are two types of awards available:
Scholarships: based primarily on merit, academic interests and/or extracurricular activities. Application information available at http://www.yorku.ca/osfs/scholSFS.shtml
Bursaries: have a financial need requirement. Application information is available at http://www.yorku.ca/osfs/bur_webpage.shtml

Also, don't forgot to apply for the undergraduate bursary program by completing the Current Student Financial Profile: http://www.yorku.ca/osfs/sfp.shtml
These bursaries are awarded to students that demonstrate a high level of financial need and are meant to supplement government financial assistance.
