fyi *************************************************************************************. Dear Health Students: As the CUPE 3903 Strike continues I know that you have many questions and mounting concerns. As a member of the University's negotiating team, I want to reassure you that the University is working very hard on reaching an end to the strike as soon as possible. To provide you with assistance, all of our academic offices are open during their regular business hours. This includes academic departments, libraries, and administrative departments. Remediation plans are being worked out to have classes resume as soon as possible following an end to the CUPE 3903 Strike. You will get at least 24 hours notice. Within parameters to be defined by Senate Executive, your Course Directors will determine appropriate remediation for their courses, including accommodations for students, modification of normal academic regulations, and adjustments in class and examination schedules. This will be governed by the principles of flexibility, discretion and academic integrity. Please note that the Division of Students Strike FAQs Web site has been updated to include FAQs related to Remediation. This is available at: http://www.registrar.yorku.ca/disruption/current/remediation.htm For the latest information on remediation plans please visit the Labour Disruptions Information webpage. For updates on negotiations, please visit the Negotiation Updates webpage as well as the Division of Students Frequently Asked Questions webpage.
