Hi Dennis

To add to your table for the "About Canada" series, here's a brief blurb
(inserted in your email below) in reference to community health centres in
Vancouver Community Health Services of Vancouver Coastal Health.

This blurb is taken from a document which outlines the role of Community
Developers in Vancouver Community, entitled "Community Development in
Action: A Profile of Community Developers in Vancouver Community Health
Services". This profile is intended to clearly and succinctly describe
the main strategies we use in our work. Its attached for further reference
and here's a bit more background info:

"Community Development in Action: A Profile of Community Developers in
Vancouver Community Health Services" is a 25 page pdf document that
provides an overview of the work CDs do in Vancouver Community and how it
fits into the larger organization. The second part looks at five key CD
strategies, each of which is illustrated with a case example.

What influences your health? Genetics? Doctors? But what about the
neighbourhood you live in? Your job? The amount of money you earn? The
social determinants of health can have a bigger impact than you think.
