Dear Forum-ers:

Here's an odd question/request:

What is/are your favorite swear word(s) or biting phrase(s) that Twain
employs in his writing-any of his writing? I'm compiling a list for a talk
I'm giving. For example, in "Carnival of Crime," he lets fly: "vile bit of
human rubbish," "saddle of an ass," and "small-souled shuffler."
"Dunderhead," "Ass," "Fool," crop up often enough too in his writing.

If he didn't want to go to heaven if swearing wasn't allowed, I'd like a
working list of what those angels would be missing.

Whatever help you'd care to give.

Gratefully,

Ben
