Wow, Larry, your innocence surprises me, and charms me as well. I am taken aback, aghast even. A beer bong is a common device at the late night binge drinking celebrations (!??) of our young wards: it is useful for forcing large quantities of liquid into one's belly. Beer bongs are usually plastic, with a large funnel-like container attached to a hose; the container of liquid is held above one's head. The best popular depiction I know of is from the classic film OLD SCHOOL -- it is what Will Farrell uses to get hammered at the beginning of the film, just before disrobing and running naked through the streets, where he encounters his new bride with a bunch of her friends. A tragic tale of contemporary higher education, I'm afraid. That is an explanation that one rarely sees on such a LIST as this one. -hb On Thu, Jun 10, 2010 at 10:16 AM, Larry Howe <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > Hal-- > > > What's a beer bong? > > --LH > > -- Harold K.
