Dear All, Regarding the recent post by Professor Ikeo, I would like to remind you of two things. 1. The Society for the History of Japanese Economic Thought (SHJET) is not the same as the Japanese Society for the History of Economic Thought (JSHET), although they have overlapping membership and maintain close academic and amicable relationship. 2. Professor Ikeo's remark at the end of her post should not be understood as representing any official view of either SHJET or JSHET toward the conference being held at Wuhan or the theme discussed there. with best wishes, Masazumi Wakatabe Chair of the Communications and Planning Committee of the Japanese Society for the History of Economic Thought (JSHET) --- Aiko Ikeo <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > Date:Fri, 4 Jun 2010 10:54:29 +0900 > From:Aiko Ikeo <[log in to unmask]> > Subject:[SHOE] The Society for the History of Japanese Economic > Thought, Annual Meeting, 5-6 June 2010 > To:[log in to unmask] > > Dear all, > > For those interested, the program for the 21st Annual Meeting of > the Society for the History of Japanese Economic Thought is now > available at > http://web.econ.keio.ac.jp/staff/mkomuro/atoc-JET/index.html > Click the fifth hot link under the link of "English" on the left > frame. > You will find the English version following the Japanese one > by scrolling the main frame down. > > We sometimes focus on Pure Japan or a long-time relation > between Chinese and Japanese thought. > > For caution's sake, > we are not interested in the Wuhan Conference > (The main theme: Development) scheduled for 11-12 October 2010. > We are not interested in Chinese development thought or policy. > > Aiko Ikeo > (Waseda University, Tokyo) > Masazumi Wakatabe Professor of Economics Faculty of Political Science and Economics Waseda University 1-6-1 Nishi-Waseda, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, 169-8050 JAPAN Phone and Fax: +81-3-5286-9722 e-mail: [log in to unmask]
