The graduate program in Critical Disability Studies at York University is pleased to host Adjunct Faculty, Professor Beth Haller, PhD, from Towson University who will be discussing her new book entitled “Representing Disability in an Ableist World: Essays on Mass Media”.

Professor Haller’s book  is informed by 20 years of research in the area of disability and mass media, and her discussion will focus on its first chapter, titled "The changing landscape of disability "news": Blogging and social media lead to more diverse sources of information."

There will be a draw for a copy of Professor Haller’s book.   Light refreshments will be served.
