Advances in Health Informatics Conference - York University April 25-27, 2012
 
1.       The Advances in Health Informatics Conference is only weeks away (Shulich School of Business, York University; April 25 – 27, 2012). This is a peer-reviewed, international conference with people coming from around the world to attend. Several papers will be given by York faculty and students.
 
2.       The theme of the conference is “Integrated Diagnostics and Integrated Care Delivery” but there are key sessions devoted to Health IT/eHealth. The conference includes a built-in workshop on “Transforming Health Care: The Evidence, Pragmatism and Politics” with Brian Haynes (McMaster), Will Falk (UToronto) and Bill Pascal (CMA).
 
3.       Students are encouraged to attend.  There are very reasonable student rates. See:  Registration Options.
 
4.       There is also a pre-conference workshop on “Teams of Leaders” – how you build leadership in a team Healthcare environment.
