Regenesis @ York is a grassroots,
student-run environmental and social justice organization working to
solve issues affecting both Keele and Glendon campuses at York University.
We focus on comprehensive and practical solutions to make our campus
a more sustainable and healthier environment in which to learn, work and
play.
We have a funding referendum that will be taking place from TUESDAY
MARCH 26th to THURSDAY MARCH 28th at evote.yorku.ca.
It is an online vote taking only 30 seconds.
With funding, we'll be able to initiate various York community initiatives,
including:
− Hosting a weekly Farmer’s Market at the Keele Campus beginning
in the Fall of 2013
− Implementing a Free Bicycle sharing system across both Keele
and Glendon campuses and the Village, as well as a Free Bike Repair
Shop at both campuses
− Creating a student community and sustainability fund that will provide
funding for all York students and clubs looking to start community,
environmental or social justice initiatives
− Creation of an on-campus Free Store and Borrowing Centre where
community members can borrow, trade, donate unused items + many more
initiatives.
Please visit our website for more information: http://http://regenesisyork.wordpress.com/.
Please vote YES
at evote.yorku.ca
and tell your fellow students about the referendum and where to
vote!
We thank you for your support
