Dr Gina Higginbottom, Professor and Canada Research Chair in Ethnicity and Health is seeking a Research Co-ordinator for the successful and vibrant Ethnicity and Health Research Program now established for 6 years with funding until 2017.

The position offers the opportunity for autonomous and team working including the coordination of several CIHR grants, collaborations with international partners in Brazil, Sweden, the UK, the US, Australia and Spain with many opportunities for personal and professional development including international conference attendance and exposure to innovative methodological approaches.

Ideally, the candidate will be educated to masters level though this is not essential with a strong orientation and appreciation of issues of health equity and diversity. The chair holder has established very close working relationships with several immigrant support agencies such as the Multicultural Health Brokers Cooperative and an excellent and outstanding research training/mentorship environment is offered evidenced by the large number of research trainee external awards.  The position is offered for 4 days per week with immediate commencement.
