It's terrific to honor Larry Berkove, and I applaud this decision of the
MTJ:  Larry is one of the most serious, thorough, and painstaking scholars
of Twain.  I also think of him as exemplary in helping anyone who would
ask:  he helped me as a graduate student, on my first scholarly panel.
