This is one problem women have which men don't have to worry about. I was just writing to Sharon about the time I spent at the Mark Twain Papers in 1978. I met Ken Sanderson there, someone I recognized from when we were graduate students in 1965. Bob Hirst came up and I attended a lecture he gave to a class. In 1965 I was Jeanne Adamson. In 1978 I was Arianne Laidlaw. I started out as Jeanne Laidlaw. My 1963 MA thesis was written by Jeanne Adamson. I'm grateful I have passports recording my various names over the years in case I'm ever challenged. Oversharing, -- Arianne Laidlaw
