I found mention of this interview both in David Fears' "Day by Day" and
on the Twain Quotes site:
http://www.twainquotes.com/interviews/interviewindex2006b.html

There is a short interview with Twain published in the Boston Herald:

"Notes"
BOSTON HERALD, 12 Nov 1884, p. [4].
Comic remarks to reporters as a way of generating free publicity. SLC
jokes briefly about the length of the program of joint readings.

This sounds like something I would like to include in my Twain-Cable
tour web page but I have been unable to find a digitized copy. I would
be grateful to anyone that might have access and can send me a file. I
can deal with most any format, pdf, jpg, tif, and so forth.
