The following outage has been cancelled:

Tuesday December 29th
8:30am-10:30am: VFACAD will be unavailable. There will be no access to academic file shares and home directories.
10:30am-12:30pm: VFADMIN will be unavailable. There will be no access to administrative file shares and home directories.
During both these time periods, there will be no access to WebFAS applications, and logins to Classrooms, Labs, Meeting Rooms and some employee desktops may be impacted.

Please note the UIT scheduled maintenance outages during the Holiday Break, from Sunday December 27th – Thursday December 31st.

Sunday December 27th
9:00am-1:00pm: MOODLE will be unavailable for upgrades.

Tuesday December 29th
7:00am-8:30am: During this period, the entire York campus network and all resources (wireless and wired) will be unavailable for 15-30 minutes while upgrade work is performed.

7:00am-4:00pm: During this period, there will be rolling outages across the campus network, affecting local network (wireless and wired) access from 15-30 minutes in any given Building. The Data Centre and WOB are not impacted.

Accolade East Building: During this period, the entire Building network, wired and wireless, Public Announce Systems (PAS) and Building Automation Systems (BAS) will be unavailable.

8:30am-10:30am: VFACAD will be unavailable. There will be no access to academic file shares and home directories.

Wednesday December 30th
7:00am-12:00pm(noon): Steacie Building power shutdown for substation maintenance. The Data Centre will run on the generator and NOT be impacted.  There will be NO power in Steacie office areas or Library.

7:00am-10:00am: During this period, there will be rolling outages across Glendon campus and ALL York Residence Buildings, affecting local network (wireless and wired) access from 15-30 minutes in any given Building.

7:00am-4:00pm: During this period, there will be rolling outages across the campus, affecting local network (wireless and wired) access from 15-30 minutes in any given Building. The Data Cente and WOB are not impacted.

Scott Library & Curtis Building: During this period, the entire Library and Curtis Building networks, wired and wireless, Public Announce Systems (PAS) and Building Automation Systems (BAS) will be unavailable.

12:00pm(noon)-10:00pm: Passport York will be unavailable. There will be NO access to most Passport York authenticated systems including MOODLE, Google Apps at York,  central WordPress updates, Student Information Systems (SIS) applications (except MyFile, Yu-verify, CDM, APY, DVD ordering and WebFAS SIS staff applications).

Thursday December 31st
7:00am-4:00pm: During this period, there will be rolling outages across the campus, affecting local network (wireless and wired) access from15-30 minutes in any given location. The Data Cente and WOB are not impacted.

Ross North Building: During this period, the entire Building network, wired and wireless, Public Announce Systems (PAS) and Building Automation Systems (BAS) will be unavailable.
