Dear all,

I'm happy to share newly updated versions of Pathfinder's contraceptive counseling cue cards for adolescents and adults in both English and French: www.pathfinder.org/publication-series/cue-cards/<http://www.pathfinder.org/publication-series/cue-cards/>. The cue cards are designed to help a range of community- and facility-based providers to counsel clients on their contraceptive options. The cards now reflect changes in the WHO's Medical Eligibility Criteria (MEC) and a new card on the Levonorgestrel IUD has been added.

The Cue Cards for Counseling Adolescents on Contraception address: implants, the levonorgestrel intrauterine device (LNG-IUD), the copper-bearing IUD, the Lactational Amenorrhea Method (LAM), DMPA (injectables), combined oral contraceptives (COCs), progestin-only pills (POPs), male condoms, female condoms, and emergency contraceptive pills (ECPs). The Cue Cards for Counseling Adults on Contraception address all of the above methods, as well as: male sterilization, female sterilization, and the Standard Days Method (SDM). The provider can use the front side of the cards to give information about all available options and, after the client chooses a method, the provider turns to the back side to give specific instruction on use.

Apologies for cross-posting! Please share widely!

Best,
Olivia
