The 2018 AAO Conference is just around the corner and the Local Arrangements Committee wants to make sure you have everything you need to feel welcome and comfortable during your stay in Kitchener-Waterloo.

Details about conference accessibility have been added to the conference website outlining information regarding inclusive washrooms, accessible parking and event space contact information. We have also provided a getting to know Kitchener-Waterloo guide highlighting some of our favourite spots for relaxing, exploring and learning that we hope will make our twin cities a little more inviting for first-time visitors.

Laurier and Waterloo are big campuses, so every effort will be made to ensure proper signage and smiling faces are available to help make finding the right spot a little less stressful. Free internet access will also be available at both universities via unique logins that will be made available on site. (Those with academic affiliation are encouraged to set up an eduroam account prior to arriving.)

We invite you to direct any questions regarding accommodations, including dietary concerns or requests for quiet spaces in order to pray, nurse or take a social time out, to contact the AAO Office so that the conference team can have a suitable plan in place when you arrive. The office can be reached by email at [log in to unmask] or by phone at 647-343-3334.

All the best,

Danielle

On behalf of the Local Arrangement Committee
