Good morning!

Those of you planning to walk to the University of Waterloo campus at some point today via the Uptown area of Waterloo/south end of Waterloo Park, are guaranteed to hit some kind of construction along the way, but don't get discouraged! There mini ponies and freshly hatched baby goslings are worth the effort.

• There is a Twitter account sharing updates about open and closed routes through the park. This update has the most recent report.
  
• If Twitter isn't for you, there are also general updates regarding Upgrades to the Central Promenade available online via the City of Waterloo. 
• The farm animals, geese and other wild life are all found to the right of the promenade (Zone C and D) on the maps.
  

If this is your first time visiting the UW campus you will likely marvel at our innovative approach to signage, namely that there is almost none. Here are some visual cues to look out for:

• The Davis Centre and Library tucked inside looks like a Lego space centre and there are several entry points. Once inside look for a  Tim Horton's tucked in a corner, the entrance to the library isn't far off. 
• The Dana Porter Library looks like a sugar cube. You can see it from most of the southern campus entry points and you'll know you're at the front if there's construction fencing obstructing your view of the building sign.
  
• Conrad Grebel is of to the left of main campus, likely over a charming footbridge depending on the route you take, and it's the only building out of the three with clearly marked above eye level building identification.
