Good afternoon,

Today is the last day to register for the 2018 AAO Conference<https://aao-archivists.ca/2018/> and any of the associated social activities.

There are a few spots left for each of the events, though the Conference Banquet ship has officially sailed – that event is sold out.

Before signing off I do want to flag that there is now an event, general interest and transportation map<https://aao-archivists.ca/2018/6121406> up on the website to help you get sense of where everything can be found. It can be expanded and added into Google Maps on your personal device(s) as needed.

If the distance between venues feels daunting, keep in mind that the AAO Office will be coordinating rides to and from certain venues as well as helping to connect people interested in sharing cabs or carpooling. Additionally there are various public transit routes, as well as a series of trails<https://www.waterloo.ca/en/gettingactive/trails.asp?_mid_=764> that snake through Kitchener-Waterloo (specifically the Laurel, Trans Canada, Iron Horse, Spurline and UpTown), which can help get you to and from different locations in a manner that best suits your interests. Please visit the registration desk for more info.

At the risk of making myself a liar, this may just be the last of my email updates before you arrive in Waterloo.. safe travels and see you real soon!

In the mean time, any final questions or concerns can be directed to the AAO Office by email at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> or by phone at 647-343-3334.

Best,
Danielle

I live and work on the traditional territory of ýthe Neutral, Anishnaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples. The University of Waterloo is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land promised to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River.
