I enjoyed Paul LItt's Champlain Society article about the guerrilla historical plaques calling out historical figures responsible for slavery or slaveowning in Ontario. (See https://champlainsociety.utpjournals.press/findings-trouvailles/2020/09/attack-of-the-guerilla-plaques?mobileUi=0&)

I was also amused that Paul -- my esteemed and very competent former colleagues at Ontario's Ministry of Culture, before he moved to academic life -- didn't flag that he was in fact the public servant responsible for the *official* version of this plaque program at the Ontario Heritage Foundation (now the Ontario Heritage Trust) for a considerable time before the turn of this century. 

He's now at liberty to critique its approach, and finally has an opportunity to do so.
