We would like to officially invite you to Shattering Barriers: Advancing Accessibility and Inclusion for People with Disabilities in the Workforce to engage in a thought-provoking dialogue about how industries can support college graduates with disabilities to transition into meaningful careers by shattering barriers and fostering inclusion in the workplace. This event is brought to you by Centennial College's Centre for Global Citizenship Education and Inclusion (GCEI), Solv, and Scarborough Women's Centre. Held virtually on Tuesday, October 5, from 1 pm to 4 pm EST via Zoom, this event will allow participants to:

 

  • Learn how to support people with disabilities, including recent graduates, who are entering the workforce from keynote speakers who are advancing workplace inclusion
  • Gain key insights on accessibility and inclusion from the industry leads in finance, engineering and social services sectors (featuring Royal Bank of Canada, Ontario Power Generation, and Cota). 
  • Obtain concrete resources and strategies to advance accessibility and inclusion in the workplace
