Luminate is hosting its first workshop of the 2021-2022 year. The interactive workshop, "Building Resilience: Self-Compassion in Student Life" will be held on Monday, October 25th from 5:30-7:00 PM ET.

This workshop will cover:

·         The importance of self-compassion in student life

·         How self-compassion can improve resilience

·         How to become more resilient in the face of academic and personal changes

·         Practical ways to practice self-compassion as a student

 

This interactive workshop will include hands-on activities, discussions and reflection questions.

 

Who We Are

Luminate Mental Health Conference is an entirely student-run initiative at York University with the mission of supporting student mental health on campus through evidence-based experiential workshops and a student-centric academic mental health conference in March 2022.
