Please do not hesitate to reach out to us, our services are confidential and no problem is too small. We are here for you!

Some students may prefer to meet with peers for encouragement and support rather than or in addition to meeting with a counsellor one-to-one. Our group is facilitated by Jay Jonah, a trans-masculine social worker who specializes in supporting trans and non-binary folxs. This group is a space to share as much or as little as you want. Ask questions, just listen in, or chat and make some new friends! Open to all trans, non-binary, gender-non-conforming folxs, and those who are questioning their gender.

Suicide Prevention & Awareness Certification

SCHW is continuing to offer licences for ‘LivingWorks Start’ to the York U community. In just one hour online, LivingWorks Start teaches trainees to recognize when someone is thinking about suicide and connect them to help and support.
