Subject: Free SciComm Training for Students!

Hello,

My name is Abdur Rafi, and I am the Community Development Coordinator at Visions of Science<https://www.vosnl.org/>, a charitable organization that provides equitable access to STEM to low-income, racialized communities. We are hosting a free virtual SciComm training series for undergraduate and graduate students in STEM. This training series will feature Dr. Eugenia Duodu who will discuss how she shares science authentically as a Black scientist and engages communities that are often excluded from STEM participation. The training series will be followed by an in-person SciComm event, where interested trainees will have the opportunity to put their science communication skills to work, share science with underrepresented audiences, and compete for awards and a cash prize up to $500!

Would you be able to please share this training opportunity with your students? Please let me know! I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Below you will find the email blurb.

Thank you!
