De Montfort University in Leicester have released adverts for six academic posts seeking lecturing staff on the social science 'Health and Wellbeing in Society' BSc and 'Global Health' MSc, these posts (below) are a mix of FT permanent and maternity cover posts across two growing programmes.
Existing staff on the programmes are active researchers with the Centre for Reproduction Research and the Institute of Health, Health Policy and Social Care and new staff would be encouraged to join relevant research centres/groups/institutes.
Candidates should be outstanding in their chosen field and must hold or be close to submitting for a doctoral degree. Relevant experience in the health and wellbeing/global health field is required as are quantitative and/or qualitative research skills. We take decolonisation seriously, as well as the pastoral care of our students. Appointees will focus on
establishing an academic profile through participation in appropriate teaching and learning activities, as well as further developing their research profile.

Do note that the undergraduate programme is one that is implementing block teaching in the first year. This means that modules are taught intensively in 7 week blocks.
