Hey! Looking for a fun club where you can meet tons of new people? Peace by PEACE is the place to be! 

We are one of the largest organizations at York with over 500 volunteers recruited each year. Our job is to mentor grades 4-6 students, and teach them about the importance of peaceful resolution, conflict management, anti-bullying, and building one’s inner power. We remind them of the importance of community and what it means to be a part of one. That said, now more than ever these students need our support!

What do you gain?

You gain a great amount of experience working with young students and their teachers in a new environment! Not only do you get to build new relationships, but we will also give you a reference letter at the end of our program, which would greatly benefit your academic journey at York University in these trying times. With this, Peace by PEACE is an incredibly unique organization, so we’re a great addition to your resumes for future applications of any sort, whether it be for jobs or even graduate schools!
