Dear SHOE-listers:
I am forwarding this message from the organizers of the Adam Smith 300th Birthday celebration in Glasgow. Looks like an exciting set of events.
Best,
Bruce

In celebration of Adam Smith’s 300th Birthday, the University of Glasgow is hosting daylong workshops for academics (early career researchers and PhD students most welcome!) on the 8th of June where leading academics are asked to reflect, discuss, and debate the relevance of Adam Smith’s works.  The workshops are part of events happening as part of a weeklong celebration of Smith on the Glasgow campus.  Details on applying to join the workshops are here: https://www.gla.ac.uk/news/headline_900135_en.html with a February 1, 2023 deadline for proposals.  Note:  Full papers are not required for participation.
