I am reaching out with a possible opportunity for youth in your network who may be interested in climate action and accessibility.

We are currently seeking a 3–5-person cohort for a Youth Leadership Climate Action Fellowship with a 1-year commitment ending in December 2023. This fellowship will be open to candidates between 15 and 30 years of age who identify as a person with disability(ies) and have some knowledge of climate action/justice.

Youth Fellows will have the opportunity to take part in an emerging 21-week training course which focuses on climate action including topics like land stewardship, food security, and social care. Youth fellows will provide feedback on the accessibility of the program and host and take part in other events related to the training. Finally, youth fellows will work with Eviance to ensure youth continue to be engaged with the organization.

This will be a paid opportunity and will require fellows work up to 6 hours a week for 48 weeks. The training program begins January 29th 2023 and we ask that those interested in participating submit a resume and cover letter by January 16th 2023.

Please share widely with your networks, keeping in mind that we are only able to consider youth at this time. If you have any questions please see that attached recruitment call or email [log in to unmask].
