The Society for the Advancement of Socio-Economics (SASE) invites you to submit a paper or session presentation for its 35th annual conference, "Socio-Economics in a Transitioning World: Breaking Lines and Alternative Paradigms for a New World Order", hosted by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, 20-22 July 2023.

The hard deadline for submissions is Wednesday, 1 February 2023.

SASE also invites nominations for its 2023 Alice Amsden Book Award for an outstanding scholarly book that breaks new ground in the study of socio-economics. Eligible books must have a 2021 or 2022 first edition publication date and cannot be edited volumes. The deadline for nominations is 15 February 2023.

Please note that only current SASE members are invited to nominate a book for the prize, and authors are welcome to nominate their own work.
