Description

The RAY students will support the development of the new Wellness and Self-Care Lab at the Dahdaleh Institute (DI), working with co-leads of the Lab Prof. Harvey Skinner (Senior Fellow) and Susan Harris (Community Fellow) along with Prof. James Orbinski (Director, DI). Here is a brief description of each position along with a link for detailed information including how to apply.

 

·        Wellness and Self-Care RAY Assistant 1

The global health intern will focus on reviewing the literature and help design the materials for research dissemination activities, such as the Seminar Series on Eastern Approaches to Global Wellness, as well as the Mini Conference or Series on Climate Distress: Health Impact on Children and Youth.

 

·        Wellness and Self-Care RAY Assistant 2

This global health intern will focus on creating a digital presence of the Wellness and Self-Care Lab. This includes researching the best practices related to research communications and dissemination, including creating the YouTube Library of previous Stress Busting videos), designing social media mechanism for promoting engagement with the Lab initiatives, and redesigning the Stress Busting: 30 Minutes of Magical Practices (Qi Gong and Mindfulness Meditation) website.
