The 2024 AAO Virtual Conference (May 8th-10th)
  [REDACTED]: Access, Privacy and
Addressing Ethical Accessibility
is extending its call for papers. 

The deadline for session and paper submissions are
extended to February 16th. 

Poster submissions will be accepted until February 25th. 

This year, we invite papers and presentations that relate to the theme of access. 

A core part of archival work is making accessible the records in our care, but access is not one size fits all. AAO is interested in hearing about the creative ways you have taken to encourage access to your records, how you have navigated existing or future barriers, and how you have considered access in response to larger social change. In particular, we wish to consider how approaches to access have addressed rights to privacy and dignity of the individuals, groups and communities represented in the records.

The AAO Conference wishes to foster a space for dialogue amongst participants and presenters. We invite proposals for examinations on this general topic in past, present and future contexts.
