HEALTH RESEARCH METHODS IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES COURSE Monday 28 AUGUST - Friday 1 SEPTEMBER 1995 MONTREAL, QUEBEC This course is sponsored by the Canadian University Consortium for Health in Development (CUCHID) and is funded by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC). It is one of a series of Masters level courses being developed by CUCHID as models for Canadian universities and their developing country partner universities. Course objectives The objectives of the course are to encourage more and better research in developing countries by training Canadian and other health researchers and students in research methodologies that are particularly relevant to developing countries. Course format The course will take place between Monday 28 August and Friday 1 September 1995 in Montreal, Quebec. It will consist of a series of sessions on research methods led by experts in the field. The sessions will employ participatory and problem solving methods of teaching and learning.
