Do you mean that you are unable to find much Criticism on the subject, or
that you are unable to find evidence of influence in the primary work?

An interesting topic for a thread.  IMHO, Twain started out a lot less
cynical than Swift, but ended up more so.

One similarity is that both placed emphasis on the human body (For Swift,
not just in Gulliver, but also in "A Modest Proposal"--I think that's
the title) for a lot of reasons, such as examining how human culture
uses identity constructs based on appearance (size, shape, color...).  A
comparison a la Foucault might be interesting here.
