As most users of the York University network already know, a computer break-in originating from several Internet sites took places 2 weeks ago. As a precautionary measure, CCIS has blocked access to York from those Internet sites known to have been involved in this incident. Internet access between these sites and York will remain blocked until each affected site chooses to verify that the intruder is no-longer capable of operating there and to notify us that this verification has take place.
