     I presume you are aware of a collection of 54 `Great Economists' 
published as an `Engagement Calendar' by the University of Chicago 
Press in 1984.  It was compiled by Geogre Stigler and Claire 
Friedland.  I contains a picture and short biographical note on one 
great economist, from Sir William Petty to Harry Johnson.
