The aim is to enable senior specialists, academics and professional people to learn about recent developments and new ideas in their fields through participation in international discussion at a high level. To derive maximum benefit from attendance, all participants must be proficient in written and spoken English. British Council seminars are open to people of all nationalities. New strategies for teaching, learning and promoting women's health will be developed by bringing together from many countries those involved in education, service and the community. People interested in submitting a proposal for the summer of 1996 should contact the Society towards the end of January 1996 to verify whether or not it will be possible to submit an application. (This will depend on the IHEP Budget for 1996/97).
