Budd The series, Quarry Farm Papers, is a publication of the Elmira College Center for Mark Twain Studies. The series makes available works of primary importance to Mark Twain Studies by scholars who have participated in programs at the Center. Mark Twain: The Ecstasy of Humor was delivered as the keynore address at the conference "The State of Mark Twain Studies," at Elmira College Center for Mark Twain Studies at Quarry Farm, 12-14 August 1993.
