Job Announcement - Program Director Job Title/Description: Program Director administers the organization's Rule of Law and Civil Society programs in Asia, Africa and Latin America with the goal of strengthening the capacity of local human rights activists and actors in the justice system of the country. Responsibilities include program design; fund-raising with the assistance of Development Director; identifying appropriate staff; overseeing projects; and ensuring coordination with other Law Group projects. The Program Director works closely with the Women in the Law Project and the International Advocacy Program. Qualifications: Law Degree with minimum 7 years legal experience; French fluency and knowledge of civil code legal systems desirable; significant field experience in human rights and/or development projects; strong writing skills; experience with program design and management; and experience with fund-raising. Extensive travel required.
